SUBDIVISIONS
Subdivision Process
The general process is the same for both preliminary and final approval.
- Submit all engineered subdivision drawings, application, and fees to the city recorder.
- The city recorder sends documents to the city engineer for review.
- The city engineer writes a letter with recommendations to the city.
- The proposed development goes on a Planning Commission agenda for review and recommendation to the City Council.
- Following the Planning Commission's recommendation, the development goes to the City Council for approval or denial.
- If the City Council approves the development, the developer is responsible for getting the proper documents recorded with Weber County.
