To build a new residential home in Farr West, submit the following documents via the online permit portal:

  2. A site plan
  3. RESCheck
  4. Structural calculations

Review Process

Once all required documents are submitted, the application process begins:

  • The building official reviews all building plans and documents.
  • After that review completes, the SWPPP documents are reviewed and verified by the storm water manager.
  • Once both reviews are complete, an invoice is emailed to the applicant.
  • If revisions are necessary, an email will request additional information or documentation.

What to Know

  • The building permit process takes on average 10–14 days.
  • If an invoice has been sent, the permit application has been approved and is ready for payment.
  • Once payment is processed, the permit is automatically opened and valid.
